Maybe, but it is "as of today," not "since the all-star break." Wade's team, like CP3 and the Hornets, is not impressive enough overall for their candidates to win it. Just look at the voting last year. It went down to the wire to see who would finish first in the west, lakers or hornets.

Sadly that's not how a lot of voters actually vote. It's "what have you done for me lately," just as much as it's about "what have you done for me this season." When you're hot, leading the league in PPG, and getting a lot of publicity, then you've got a good shot at MVP.

I don't think Wade should really be considered, I think it is Lebron's to lose, and CP3 should, and I stress the should, come in second, but he probably won't. And there are some serious negahornets here. No surprise they are mostly Rocketards.

I still think it's a Lebron/Kobe race w/ DWade finishing 3rd. CP3 really has no chance this year. He might finish 5th behind Howard.
