Coach does not let anything get by him

Mark Daigneault is challenging a foul call against Alex Caruso with 0.4 seconds left in the first quarter on a heave from Desmond Bane at midcourt.

Successful challenge - it was an illegal screen by Marvin Bagley III that forced Caruso into Bane.

Thunder defense just held the Grizzlies to 36 points in the first half.

Memphis was the #2 highest scoring team this season.

Old enough to remember when the experts were calling Ja and Memphis the next big thing.

You are acting like they are playing game 7 in the finals. Memphis is not that good. OKC is a much better team than them.

32 point halftime lead is the largest in Thunder history.

Remember that all-time blowout from a few years ago?

Grizzlies were up 72-36 at halftime.

Payback

Worst loss in team history

Off topic from the game at hand...but NBA killing me with the backstage interviews, showing players getting to arena, walking through the hallway awkwardly trying not to stare and the camera with the camera man right in front of them backpedaling. Except Tatum who gotta try to look cool like he's just smiling and singing some song everywhere he goes.

All of that straight out of the old WWE playbook. Used to always show the wrestlers getting to the building and walking down the halls and such

Lol no I’m not. I’m enjoying a blowout game 1 when SGA is not even hitting shots. Every game is different in playoffs. This team mostly grew up together along with coach. They sucked but Presti kept building pieces trade by trade by draft by FA. And now in game 1 after their historic season they are dominating. As a fan thats preferable to losing.

Thats pretty much what fandom is, rooting for and enjoying your team. And today is going better than I could have even imagined. Got playoff experience last year and added IHart and Caruso for even more experience.

What do you think fans do? Are you saying fans should never enjoy their team? If you can’t handle it then come back when they’re losing which I’m sure you will be jumping for joy.

Agree, its just over saturation pre game stuff. I don't care what they wear to game.

I do remember watching Bulls on WGN back in MJ days and loved their player introduction music and player announcements.

Silver has got to be shaking his head at this dreadful performance by Memphis.
