Yep - the Brady treatment got passed onto Mahomes.
I don't blame the Chiefs either - they know it, and lean into it when it comes to asking for calls, and they know they'll get it more often than not.

Because they CAN call another flag on any play they want to wash it out, and it will let defenders of the shield point to those calls and say "well if they were cheating why'd that call that one?" These calls are completely controlling the previous 6+ minutes of this game and 1 first down away (by any method) from outright ending it.

I get why it benefits the NFL with the chiefs winning but who wants to watch a fricking 10 minute drive of pure arse offensive football that is only aided by automatic 5 yard first downs?
