pville is the one who despises Kenny Holland. I just sort of figured the team was due for a downturn at some point after never really drafting high for decades. Anyway, hopefully they can work through the contract mumbo jumbo and get Stevie in here. the atlantic is garbage enough that I feel like you all should compete for a wild card in the east.
top 3 atlantic doesn't seem likely, but the bernier and vanek acquisitions along with your ageless Swedes , Larkin , Athanasiou, Nyquist should keep you all competitive.
Blue Line is a bit suspect outside of the top pairing which really isn't that great to begin with

Even the top pairing is pretty bad. Would any of our defenders be the #2 guy for any other team? Maybe Green, but he'd have to be paired with a strong defender.
Nyqvist is likely to get traded before the end of the season, maybe AA as well.

The only good thing about all these shitty contracts that Holland gave out, is that they all expire in the next 1-2 years. Whoever the GM is will have nearly a clean slate to work with.
