JT pitches are done & hes back at home. Best guess is 70/30 he stays with Isles. Sharks and Leafs most likely destinations if he leaves.

No JT update as of yet. Isles have until tomorrow at 11:59pm to sign him to an 8 year deal.

If JT were to tell NYI that he wasn't going to sign with them and he wanted to sign with a specific team (let's say Boston), would NYI be able to trade him to Boston and would Boston be able to sign him for 8 years as long as all of the deals were done before the deadline tomorrow?
Or is NYI the only team that can sign him for 8?

I don’t remember ever seeing a sign and trade of any kind in the NHL so I have no idea.

Looks like Green is signing a 2 year deal with Detroit, and it sounds like Detroit is likely to sign Bernier for 3 years, and Vanek for 1 or 2.
