I mean, what should the Caps do differently? Other than the stupid penalty by Fehr... they are doing EVERYTHING you would want your team to do. they are getting to pucks first, they are laying big checks, they are taking good shots... they just aren't scoring.

Not sleeping their way through the first 10 minutes of the 1st period the past 2 games would be a start. When they flip the switch they're unstoppable, but Halak is playing out of his mind. Regardless, Caps should've put this one away last Friday. All I can do is shake my head. I'm in shock this is going 7.

But they didn't sleepwalk in the early going of this game. They had all of the early chances and then committed a penalty. the Habs got a PP goal and then a second goal on a really soft shot that Varlamov should have stopped. The team came out firing, really.

Halak is just ridiculous tonight. Ultimately need to just tip your hat to him...not much a team can do

OK, Semin has been worthless. I'll give you that. But the Caps are playing well. they are just getting beat by a goalie playing out of his gourd.
