Enrollment is supposed to surpass 20,000 in the next few years.

Sounds like all y'all care about is the fracking enrollment, might as well lower the admission standards even more .

He was one of the candidates to replace Lee before we hired Marlin so I remembered him

That was one hell of a stache though

God yes. Antoine Landry was on that 04-05 team too (he played a few seasons in the NBDL if I recall correctly).

We were also a year removed from losing Laurie Bridges and Brad Boyd to graduation.

It's a sign of a growing university.

That won't be necessary.

I remember one year my best friend's dad checked us out of school early to watch the Cajuns in the NCAA tourney. I think it was the year we almost upset the Louisville team that made the Final Four

Lets not forget some key losses during Baldwin's time:

Northwestern state
Sam Houston State
Jacksonville State

OT Win vs Wofford

At least those were 1AA/FCS teams.

But North fricking Alabama?

But what sucks is he was on the team the year before and the year after.

It was the absolute worst timing.

2 legit 7 footers, one who could stretch the floor.

Southall probably won so many cartons of cigarettes in prison basketball games.

Yep. And by then (05-06), we had lost too much talent to repeat our success.

Exactly, and Cameron was a legit PF. He had to play center that year, which I don't think he was comfortable with. Southall would have fit in perfectly there.

No doubt. Mitchell could get up there. Tirus Wade, Orien Green, all those dudes. We were most likely cheating but that shite was wild.

When it came down to the fast break, we could run with any team in the nation. Green, Hamilton, and Mitchell were scary in transition.

Imagine if we had Kadeem Coleby, Kentwan Smith, and even JJ and his bro this year.

Sans Nikita Johnson influence of course.

Edit: butchered Kadeem's name.

Baldwin lost to 3 1AA teams, and all in the same season.
Stokley lost to a Division 2 team and a 1AA in his last 2 seasons.
Baldwin was no coach, but he left more talent than he inherited.

Just hold down the fort until I turn 21 in a few months and can get me some of that dome foam. That's why I was sitting down last game. That, and the obnoxious guy in the rubber boots with the giant Marlin head was right next to me and I didn't want to stand by that guy. Good Lord he pisses me off.
