Obviously it’s a long shot he beats Med but max missed a lot of routine shots that 1st set probably due to nerves. Hopefully he got it out his system and makes this thing somewhat competitive

Max takes the 3rd set tie break atta boy

I’m so happy for Alize. 1st QF ever at a major and she has played in every single major since 2007. Incredible.

Med breaks on max’s last serve of the 4th set to seal it. Max put up a decent fight and had him frustrated with his “serve and volley” style of play on every serve, just couldn’t get any breaks. I’m really not that impressed with Med but It seems he was handcuffed by Max’s style somewhat (coming from a tennis noob)

Sinner looking like a straight machine

These announcers are shitting on Tsitsipas so hard. Even after he wins the point it’s “I still don’t like what he did there he’s hitting it in the wrong spot” or “that was more of a mistake by Fritz than anything that Tsitsipas did”

Both of these guys are so tired. Could be heading toward a 5th set tiebreak

Nevermind. Some very solid defense by Tsitsipas results in a break.
frick this shitty Aussie crowd.

I crashed before the last set, damn that sucks really seemed like Fritz was the better player for the majority of the match just couldn’t bring it home

What do we think about Sinner v. Shitsy Pants?
Posted on 1/24/22 at 1:50 pm to MidnightVibe
Seeing Sinner -120/Shitsy +150 or so. Seems about right. Caesars has Med at -110 to win the tournament, Rafa +240, then Berrettini, Tsitsi, and Sinner all 12-1. So, that boy is getting some respect.

I would bet my life Sinner wins that match, so that means Tsitsipas will pull it out of his arse in 5 sets

Keys is through to the semis in routine fashion. Rafa time.

Shapo in the process of a 0-2 set comeback. Nadal looks very low on energy.

Can they both lose?
Based on energy levels a Rafa 3-2 win would almost be like both losing.

Don’t see how Rafa wins this. Doesn’t even look like he wants to be out there.
