Surprisingly enough, he was a white boy.

You must not be familiar with Whitlock.

Am I missing something or is Whitlock upset over a white kid dying?

Where does racism come into play here? Please explain.

Whitlock has long had a reputation of race bating. It was a tongue in cheek post.

The boy knew he was gonna die. I can't from work, but someone find that kids tweets. He was tweeting about it before the accident happened.

The coaches should have told the kid to stop filming and come down.

Its not about race people are pissed that a kid who shoots video died on a football field and no one is taking responsibility.

It looks almost as bad that the other coaches didnt say anything because you know somone on that field saw him up there.

It's not really a freak accident, standing on a 50-60ft scissor platform in 60+mph winds is going to result in something bad somewhat frequently.

Exactly. Only an idiot wouldn't see it coming. Those lifts shouldn't be used in winds over 25 mph, period.

Sullivan tweeted shortly before his death “Gusts of wind up to 60mph well today will be fun at work… I guess I’ve lived long enough :-/” Thereafter, windgusts were in excess of 50 mph, reports Fanhouse. Sullivan tweeted again “Holy (bleep) holy (bleep) holy (bleep) this is terrifying.”

Dude was terrified......He shoudla just said frick it and quit his job at that point. I can't believe no one on the Notre Dame staff took notice or cared enough.

Then GTFO if you don't like what's being said. We're not even talking about the kid anymore.

24 hours before the accident, this is what Tressel said regarding the wind that day.

quote:
“I don’t know if we’ll be inside or out,” Tressel told Ohio reporters 24 hours before the Notre Dame tragedy. “It looks a little nasty. I worry about our cameramen, their well-being up there 50 feet in the air.”

I saw that. At first I thought Tressel was sort of pandering and maybe even exploiting the situation a little, making it seem like he was concerned AFTER the kid died.

Then I rewound the clip and saw that it noted the comments were made Tuesday.

That's certainly weird.

Tressel sure does look like a coach that undertsands everything that falls under his responsibility and covers his bases as any top paid CEO would.

Go make jokes on a topic that's not about a kid dying.

And while you're at it, grow up a little.

If a head coach and his staff doesnt have enough sense to get a kid down from the tower in 50 mph winds when the lifts only support half of that I wouldnt want him coaching at my school. It doesnt take rocket science to use some common sense.

Yeah, someone should be in deep shite over this. I can't imagine responsible adults being so stupid.
