I have a strange feeling ESPN will be pimping the shite out of Tyler Seguin with no NBA. (kid deserves it though. Amazing how he's transformed from a rookie into a GOAT player under 7 months.)

Lucic had a hearing today about hit on Miller. No word on if he's suspended or not.

Flyers @ Canes tonight. Seems like they're playing Carolina a lot (next Monday they're here.) Flyers also only have like 3 home games in December. Crazy scheduling.

I agree. I'll see if I can find the still shots of the hit. Miller came at Lucic with his elbow up. Lucic had his down. Then Miller swung his stick wildly after the hit. That's the main problem I have. What if he had connected and hit Lucic in the head? Then Miller sounded a big puss in his post game comments.

If you come out of the crease, you should be treated like any other skater. Lucic was just finishing his check.

Was a really good game to watch last night. I thought the Panthers looked pretty good. Just couldn't hit the net on some pretty key opportunities. Bryz saved the day a few times.
Versteeg looks like he's a different player. I think playing with the sports hernia when he was in Orange & Black really limited what he could do. Seems like he's gotten it together.

The hit was questionable and something you don't see every night in the NHL...meaning a 2 game suspension minimum. Lucic had time to let up or avoid laying out the goalie, but he followed through with the hit. Goalies are allowed to leave their creases. So what Miller swung his stick? What IF? What IF Ryan Miller never plays again because of concussion symptoms?

Meh I'm not shocked Lucic would hit him like that but it was a bit uncalled for against a goaltender. If Kaleta was out there he'd probably look to head butt Lucic at some point during the game.

Kaleta was out there. No Buffalo player ever retaliated in any way. I've always heard Ryan Miller was kind of a douche in the locker room. Maybe his teammates don't like him too much

I wasn't sure if he was back from his suspension for when he head butted Voracek. The war of words between him (Miller) and Danny last year in the playoffs was pretty ridiculous. He tends to shoot his mouth off a lot. It was beautiful to see when he got pulled in Game 7 last year after the Flyers lit him up.

b/c the NHL has set precedent to suspend players on intent. it was miller's intent to hit lucic with his stick. when chara blasted pacioretty last year he wasn't suspended. partly b/c they deemed it wasn't his intent to push his head into the stanchion

LETS GO FLYERS! Going to be a tough one on the second night of back-2-back road games. Hopefully they've had enough rest in Florida since they've been there all week for team bonding and everything and they'll have some jump tonight in Carolina.
We got to see Boosh the first time up here but I would figure Ward would be in goal for them tonight.

Why can't you by goaltenders when they leave the crease? They have more pads than anyone else.
