Toronto had twice as many even man shots as Washington as well. Nice to see Vokoun finally play a good game, but this is not a successful longterm way to play.

I'd be shocked if Winnipeg makes the playoffs. They are playing over the heads right now, and they are still 12th in the conference (but only 3 points out of 8th). They are 8-4-0 at home, and that's not going to last. The Jets are on a great run right now (7-2-1) and it's gotten them to respectable, but that's probably where they max out.
It's not like they can't make the playoffs, but it's not likely.

Of course the Jets aren't going to last. Their travel and strong conference is going to kill them. They are alright, but will probably finish a .450 team or so.

I do, s I don't panic over a bad 10 game stretch like the Canadian media, who desperately need a story -- particularly that their Golden Boy is better than anyone and don't you ever doubt it (not that he isn't propped by a Russian, too).
