he was derailed with numerous back injuries. Seems like he's back now with 31 bombs already in AAA

what's gotten lost in this is how unfair the trade was at the time. He was the worst starter in the history of MLB statistically at a point last year.
His performance now is what he was always expected to do but it was a very uncertain trade at the time.
