4-0
In the regular season.
Lebron's Cavaliers were 2-0 against the Spurs in the 2006-2007 regular season. That worked out pretty well for them in the playoffs didn't it?
The Miami Heat were 0-3 against the Bulls in the 10-11 season as well. That worked out pretty good for the Bulls in the playoffs as well huh?
Championship teams play championship ball in the playoffs. Nets are old as frick. Heat in 5.

The 2010-2011 Mavericks were 2-0 against the Heat in the regular season and then went on to beat the Heat in the Finals.
FWIW.

This is sadly so predictable from Heat fans. If the Raptors would have won today we would have heard all about how they swept the Raptors this season, but since Brooklyn swept Miami the regular season didn't matter.

The 2012 Celtics were the 4th oldest team in the league and took the best Heat team of their current run to 7 games.
An old Mavs team beat them.
A relatively old Spurs core group really should have beaten them.
Are we sure a good, experienced group is a bad thing going up against the Heat?

I think OKC/LAC is easily the most exciting/interesting matchup of the second round. Lots of stars and it could go either way. Watch for Blake Griffin to go off in his hometown

Not to mention the Heat aren't exactly young. Ray Allen, Shane Battier, and Rashard Lewis are all up there in age. D Wade's like 32, but with health he is more like 34 or 35.

Who is old on the Nets outside of Pierce and KG? Kirilenko?

That's the series I'm most excited to watch.
What's most interesting to me, at least from a storyline perspective, is if the Wizards can win, they will be in the ECF

I am going to try very hard not to get invested in this series, simply because if I do it will probably go 7 and Brooklyn will lose a heartbreaker.
The Nets match up pretty well. They can play small and they are deep. They need either Joe Johnson or Paul Pierce to be stone-cold killers though for the majority of the games in the series. And that Brooklyn crowd has to carry them at home. If they can have it 2-2 heading back to Miami they have to feel pretty decent. They have the veterans to win on the road late in a series I think.

The east is just a trainwreck besides Miami

The LandWalrus, Boris Diaw is gettin' kinda long in the tusk...
And SHUT. UP. I want fools still using the "Spurs are too old" line, dammit!

I would have loved to see the MIA team of the past few years have to slog through the West.
Not saying they couldn't do it, but they'd take some lumps fo sho.

Heat have proven their own against the West. They even had a 17 (may have been longer) game win streak against WC teams.
