The best thing about the ceremony is that you don't get the sense that the US players were just happy to get there. They thought they should have won. That bodes well for 2014.
Hopefully there won't be any of that from the talking heads, because it's not true.

for what people were calling fifth best team in the tourney US played a great game and silver sucks now, but it will feel better latter. still

That has to be one of the greatest sporting events of all time. A civil war. NHL teammates playing hard against each other for their countries. Two countries with a common boarder and the game itself being played only 50 miles from the other country's boarder.
And the game itself. The favorites go up 2-0 and the dogs fight back to tie it with 25 seconds left. Then it goes to a really exciting overtime. Could it have been any better?
