I'm fortunate that in addition to the NHLN, I have Altitude Sports that carries a lot of the Avs games. That and 2 college teams, Colorado College & Air Force that I can go to a college hockey game if I choose.

Mrs. Baloo just got mad at me for watching the Rivalry special on Caps-Pens on NBCS tonight. She called me a sports masochist.
Please. 2009 is not even in the top 5 of the most painful Caps playoff exits. We've gone 3-9 in Game 7's (2-8 at home). You need a lot more than "lost a Game 7" to get a true Caps fan into real levels of pain.
Hell, it's not even the worst loss to the Penguins. That would be 1995 and the blown 3-1 lead. Actually, 1996 was worse even though it was a 4-2 series just because the Caps had a 2-0 series lead with both wins on the road. Then the 4OT Game 4 happened.
Guh. Anyway, 2009 doesn't really rate. Heck, it's not 2010 or 2012. I still can't talk about 2012.

I'm a Habs fan first and foremost, but I have a bit of a confession.
I usually hate all things Chicago, but I really enjoy watching the Blackawks play. Toews is unbelievable and Keith might be the best defender in the league.

So TSN has lost the rights to the NHL following the 2014 season. HUGE HUGE news, and the deal will be announced tomorrow officially.
