Isner doesn't look so good now. Fourth set is upcoming.

Of course the first time he has to serve to stay in the match he gets tight and is in a 0-30 hole

rolls 4 straight points 5 all

I tossed down a few plays today:

Kevin Anderson at -280 over Baghdatis
Stan The Man -380 over Dr. Ivo
Istomin -280 over Tobias Kamke
Seppi -190 over Devarrman.

If I would have been forced to pick just one of those, I prolly woulda gone Seppi. -190 is a nice price.

My analysis of the bottom quadrant of the draw:

1. If Nadal and Federer meet in the quarters, Nadal will win.

2. If Federer instead meets John Isner in the quarters, Federer will win.

3. There is no guarantee that Isner will beat Kohlschreiber, but I tend to think he will. I'll give him a 60% chance.

4. If Ivan Dodig beats Rafael Nadal in the next round, I will dress up in drag, sing Carly Rae Jepson, capture it all on video, upload it to youtube, and then post in this thread for all to enjoy.

5. Rafa has been blowing through his opponents. I tend to think he'll beat Dodig in straight sets, and will thus go into the Round of 16 match in great shape physically.

6. If Isner beats Kohlschreiber, but Kohlschreiber pushes him to five sets in a very physical match, that's good news for Nadal and bad news for Isner. The big fella needs to play a perfect match to beat Nadal, and in order for him to play that perfect match he needs to come in fresh and energized.

7. All of that being said, I am going to be very interested in the Isner/Nadal match if they do end up playing.

8. The winner will DEFINITELY be playing Federer in the quarters. Fed will torch Mannarino in about an hour and half, and won't spend much longer in the next match dispatching Robredo.

9. Let's go Rafa.

10. Vamos!

He's gotten it back to 5-3, Berdych serving now. Kudla blew like 4 or 5 break points in Berdychs first two serve games, really frustrating.

edit: missed out on another BP.

and another. He's now 1-8 in first set break points

and another 1-9 now. both guys really going at it.

Me too, seems to be pretty positive out there considering how fricking awful he's been playing the last few months. Me being 5'11" I've got a thing for sub 6 footers.

How bout Berdych though, man had the audacity to wear a full H&M ensemble.

edit 5 all now. strap up boys

Kudla was up 40-15 and faulted 4 times in a row. He ended up winning the game anyway. Headed to a first set tie break.
