UO obviously read the rules, ran it through compliance, and got the green light
they paid these services ON THE BOOKS. they were 100% sure this would be seen as legal, and i've yet to see how paying a recruiting service is against NCAA regulations. nothing says schools can't do this, and nothing says kids can't be "advised" by these street agents. as long as the kid didn't get money (or, more importantly, the NCAA can't prove the street agent paid the kid), what can the NCAA do?
Something isn't being reported. I don't think the NCAA would investigate if this were the whole story. I think it may be that Lyles was no longer working for that company, but still got paid.
