Yep! It might have been one of those planes that didn't have first class. And the flight is so short. ETA: this would have been when he was still in the NFL but during the off season.

Good points. I know several people that have had encounters with Bert and they echo what you wrote.

Class act.

Acted pumped to see Arian Foster one time at Last Concer Cafe in Houston. Proceeded to dead fish him and whisper who dat in his ear. He gave me an extremely confused look. He was with Bun B at an Earphunk show (for you NOLA people) which I thought was kind of strange.

I used to be a corporate pilot till I had some minor medical issues and gave it up. The corporate side of the airport is a great place to meet people. Met Coach Stallings, Fran(pre-rope drop), Coach Saban twice and he couldn't have been friendlier cause he was on his way home from recruiting trips both times. Sat with Bart Starr for about 2-3 minutes out of the blue one early morning before he flew out somewhere. Missed out on a chance to fly and hang with Bo Pelini for two days in Florida during a off season as one of our clients was a close friend with him. Got called out on another flight last second. I remember meeting several WWE guys who were in town that night. Triple H for a few minutes who was nice but reserved. All of the big time musicians like Elton John, etc. would literally climb out of the plane and into the limo a half foot away and you would blink and miss them. John Daly at his golf tournament outside Russellville, AR when we flew one of the corporate sponsors up there for the weekend. Nice guy and wore the ugly arse pants the whole time haha. The guitarist for Hootie and the Blowfish was the musician for the after party and shared a table with him. Nice too.

My best friends brother in law was Ron Gant for many years until he and Heather got divorced a few years ago. Went to all of his New Year's Eve party's when he lived at The CC of the South and a lot of golf over a 10 year period.

Played a full round with Steve Avery in 93 when I was playing by myself one day. He got to the 1st tee when I was getting ready to tee off and asked if he could join me.

Bill Goldberg was a good friend of one of my old roided out friends in Athens. Tailgated with him in Jax for the UGA/UF game three years in a row in the late 90s.

Walked by Chris Dimarcos tailgate the year he and Tiger had the Masters playoff. He was sitting in the back of an SUV with the hatch up close to Alltel Stadium. Told my friend "I think that is Chris Dimarco." A guy near us heard me and asked if we wanted to meet him. My friend is a Top 10 Amateur in Georgia and immediately complimented his performance the past April in Augusta. Ended up at his tailgate the rest of that day before we entered the stadium.

I had a stem cell transplant in Feb 2013. My wife had a cavernous angioma removed from her spinal cord a month later in March. I get Masters badges every year (got on the patron list in 06) and we decided to just go on Saturday that year. We were both struggling that day and my wife started feeling very dizzy while walking on the trail from the 16 tee box up through the woods to the bathrooms. We sat down on a rock wall and I noticed a green jacket walking down the hill torwards us. I summoned him over to ash if we could get a cart to carry her to the 1st aid building. It wasn't until he got to us that I realized it was Lynn Swann. Not only did he use his radio to get a cart for us but rode with us across the course to first aid and walked her in the building. Classy guy.

He was very cool about it, since our little campus 200-watt station wasn't going out to very many listeners.

KNWD!!

I flew from Dallas to Lake Charles next to Joe Dumars, and ran onto Too Tall Jones in an Addison, TX bar. Both good dudes.

PGA Tour - Tiger is just a dick. No other way to put it. I've met most of the guys and have to say Elkington, Els and Johnson are all great to be around. My personal favorite is Roco Mediate. I watched him and Phil play together during a practice round at Wingfoot and couldn't stop laughing. Very engaging with fans and a prankster.

Basketball- Played a pick up game with Vice Carter and Antoine Jamison. Also played against Coach Snyder. I absolutely love Quinn. Dude can still put it through his legs in the air and jam at his age! Extremely athletic

Baseball - Will Clark, was a dick but in a cool way. Tony Gwynn is probably one of the best human beings I've ever been around.

Football- I've met and still hang with some of the current Saints players. I'm not on the Brees hate or love wagon. Most of the guys respect him but there is a level of jealousy with Drew. I've seen it and heard it around a lot of the players. I don't think its personal but he isn't knocking down suds with the guys like Manning or farting on you like Farve.

England soccer player Peter Crouch once refused to sign an autograph for me. I don't even rate him, was just gonna give it to a friend.

I was at a hockey tournament in Toronto one time when I was 13 and met Wayne Gretzky in an elevator.

He signed a random business card my mom had in her wallet.

I felt bad, because it was from some bullshite flower shop in Rochester, NY... But he was cool about it.

I also met Ben Tate and Brian Cushing one time because Tate had a Twitter contest where he would buy dessert for the first person who got to the restaurant he was at. He took one picture of the place. My friends figured it out and hauled arse. It was days after Cushing was suspended for steroids, so that was a bit awkward. Tate was really quiet. His agent talked most of the time, and Cushing just talked shite about Notre Dame to my buddy who was a freshman there at the time. Cushing asked us how we got there. I think he thought we were too young to drive (as college freshmen). Sorry we weren't on HGH. Tate put a video of us up on his Facebook page, which was pretty cool.

Just watched that video

I was drunk and knocked Jim Thome into a urinal on accident at the Indians team hotel because Sandy Alomar Jr kept buying rounds.

Denied Micheal P.S. Hayes a ride to DFW because he smoked and I wasn't going that way.

Helped Gene Stallings with a dead battery in his truck in Bosdier City. Very nice and appreciative.
