I'm not sure why you're picking a fight with me, Ron. I'm just saying it's been a sub-par year for a Pitino coached team. I know that they're talented and that their record isn't reflective of what kind of team they are.

Mike Miller is reaching..Pitino is safe at the Ville.
He may not be what he was at his peak, but still has the Cards with a legit contender that goes deep, every few years.
Until Tom Jurich and Denny Crum say something, Pitino isn't sweating any spinster propaganda.

Even though they blew the WVU game Sat in Morgantown, they led by margin all day.
They look as if they are about to go on a run down the stretch this year..I think they get in even via the loaded Big East..and currently way down in the standings.

not much else to realy expect from a team with few senior leaders and a team that lost two lottery picks
if louisville was 8-1 instead of 5-4, everyone is raving on pitino for what a great job hes doing. you cant fix stupidity of edgar sosa or pisspoor officiating
sorry for being harsh

granted they blew the wvu game, if the refs did their fricking job, they win that game. they were royally fricked in the arse that game, and even my uk fans up here will admit that
and if anyone thinks pitino is off his game, go check out his 2011 class

It's cool
I don't hate Louisville as much as most UK fans. I grew up a huge Pitino fan. I got to meet him in 1996 at senior day in Lexington. He seemed like a classy guy. Of course you never know what goes on behind the closed doors of a restaurant.

only thing is people act liek pitino is the only coach to ever cheat on his wife
that shite shouldnt affect what goes on between the lines

Agreed. The only thing I thought it might affect was his recruiting, but as you pointed out he's still reeling in the big ones.

if we get marquis teague, everyone will forget about uks class this year, cuz ul 2011 class > uk class this year if we get teague
i was at the hall tonight. cards looked good, but uconn has been down. gotta win the next two then go up to cuse and frick them out

I'm not sure about all that. UK has gone from an NIT team to a potential #1 seed in the big dance. And that's with Patterson not playing as well as he was expected to play.

oh come on
patterson has played himself in to a lottery pick
and yall still start darius miller
yall only really have 3-4 guys that contribute

...and three of those guys are freshman. Which brings me back to my point that Louisville's class would be hard pressed to be better than UK's this past year.

I'm not saying that Patterson has had a bad year by any means, but his numbers are a little down and he completely disappeared last Tuesday against South Carolina.
He's averaged 12 points and 5.5 boards in his last eight games.

yeah, well seriously, just go look at ul's class in 2011, and consider marquis teague a near lock for that team
minimum of 3 5 star guys if he commits, just like uks, and we have some 4 star guys as well already committed
Posted on 2/2/10 at 12:54 am to LSUAce007
agreed that patterson played like absolute dogshit against usc

Should be great for the rivalry

no joke. living here, makes me hate uk fans even more after the fact they were so shitty fr a while and now its like those years didnt even exist and they have been great for so long. even worse that ul is in rebuilding mode

I hope that Calipari and Pitino both stay with their schools for at least 10 years. That could be fun to watch.
