I've lived in Wisconsin for over ten years and I have lots of Packer friends, but I'll be damned if I ever jump ship. (Although you will learn alot more about a franchise in said town just from the local media exposure).
By you questioning your allegiance, I wonder how much of a fan of the Saints you truly are?

I see your dilemma about the Broncos, but my wife and I were in Denver in April and went to a couple of Rockies games. I would have no problem becoming a fan of them. The park is great, its clean, everyone is super nice, and the district around the park is great with all the bars and sports hangouts (LoDo?).

I go to Braves games but I don't buy their merchandise, I am all Rangers. I will root for them as long as they aren't playing the Rangers or it affects them whatsoever.

There is no reason to change your favorite team. I will root for my favorite teams no matter what.

Please Read the Entire Thread.

I LOVE the Saints. No one will ever fill that spot. I just want to enjoy some live games since I am 1300 miles from the Saints. I currently don't give a rats arse about the Broncos, Rockies, Nuggets, but I would really like to become a fan of them as well. I have been to several games and find myself not very interested. This may be the sport or the team, but it sucks to sit through a 3 hour game and not give a frick.

I just wanted to know if people who have moved to new cities have ever found a passionate following for a new team. I want to be a fan of the Broncos, but it's hard to really care about them.

I guess I'm selective in my choice. I moved to Austin and will always be an lsu fan completely. I will never be a longhorn football fan. Lived here five years and have never been to a game. Where I am selective though is love the longhorn basketball team. I go to a lot of their games and will root for the ball team unless playing lsu which I don't have to worry about.

I haven’t developed the kind of burning passion for the Chiefs, Steelers or Chargers that I have for the Saints but I definitely pull for em and am glad when they win. Being local to a sports team usually makes them pretty easy to pull for unless you disliked them beforehand.

Accordin to MSB logic you are obligated to be a Broncos fan since you live there.

My aunt has lived in Denver for a while, and she's still a die hard Saints fan. She also pulls for the Broncos, but when they are playing each other, it's Saints all the way.

I live in Atlanta, and I used to live in Dallas. I don't develop an allegiance to a team just because I happen to work in a particular metropolitan area.

Yep, read your thread. same response. Just go to baseball games. As far as football. Just pick a few saints games a year to go to.(I enjoy them much more when I pick just a few to attend) Good chance they'll be coming to that neck of the woods at some point.
For heaven's sake don't force yourself to like the broncos and by all means don't throw your money away at their venue

I just moved to New York and there is no fricking way I'm changing team allegiances. If you even considered it, you aren't much of a fan of you hometown team to begin with. I went to a Mets game, and will probably hit up a Yankees game, and possibly follow the Jets cause my roommate is a huge Jets fan, but that's as far as that shite goes.

I grew up in SE LA and even though I live in San Fran now, I still cheer for the Saints and LSU. AND, because the 49ers whipped the Saints arse in the nfc west for so long, I actually HATE the Niners to this day!

I do eventually

I become a LSU fan when I went to graduate school at LSU... now LSU football may be my most passionate rooting interest

If the New Orleans Saints moved to another town and were still at the least called the Saints, my loyalty would lie with them no matter what.
