It makes no sense for them to trade for a stop gap qb. Even with Bradford they weren't a lock for the playoffs. Roll with Shaun Hill and get a top 3 draft pick to use on your new qb of the future. Bradford era in St. Louis is over.

Shaun Hill more than capable of stepping in and keeping them respectable.

They have the best d line in the nfl and an overall very good def. They will not be a top 3 pick

even if they do make a trade, youd be asking a qb to learn an entirely new playbook in 2 weeks.
That rules out JR. He couldn't learn it in two years at Oakland.

They have some solid young skill guys on O too.

trade a mid round pick to the Redskins for Kirk Cousins?
Guys on ESPN mentioned Cousins, but with the way he is playing and the way RGIII is playing, the 'Skins would be stupid to let him go.

Ryan Mallett is not a good QB.

Rams should tank.
Honestly this could be a good option for them. Great defense (needs some help in the secondary), lots of decent skill position players.. Need a little OL help and a QB. that's it. A high draft pick nabs them a top QB (mariota, Hundley, Winston?) in the next draft plus a potentially good DB or guard at the top of the 2nd round. They'd be pretty well off if one of those Rookie QBs worked out well for them.
