Georgia tech should certainly be ranked higher than Georgia if they win head to head. Though the polls have shown a tremendous pro-SEC bias throughout the season.
Nah. If Georgia Tech wins, they'll have the same record, and Georgia will have had a much tougher schedule (and that's not even counting home-field advantage, which would make Georgia's schedule even tougher).

Winning %
Georgia .800
Georgia Tech .700

Opponents' winning %
Georgia .598
Georgia Tech .511

Opponents' Opponents Winning %
Georgia .508
Georgia Tech .555

SOS, SOS rank
Georgia .568, 3
Georgia Tech .526, 36

IMO the SEC needs to go at least 3-1 to have any argument of being better than the ACC, Big-10 or PAC-10.

OK, I used to just think you were overly biased, but somewhat educated. Now I'm convinced that you are a total loon. You are challenging Seminole for most delusional poster on this board.

I think once you factor that Georgia got it's arse kicked by the only 2 real good teams they played then certainly GT would deserve to be ranked higher.

Also generally speaking if 2 teams have the same record and one team goes on the road and beats the other team then they should be ranked higher.

Others have said the same bullshite on and I have proved them wrong. Go check the Rant I bumped a thread from early October that was titled could "OU beat LSU". I said that OU would win by double digits, people said the same nonsense that you are saying. That is just one of many, many examples.

Losing to Virginia, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina is WAAAAAAAAAAY worse than losing to Florida, Alabama, and Georgia Tech.

No, they should stand higher in standings due to tie-breakers. Standings and rankings aren't the same thing.

Georgia has a better team than Georgia Tech, regardless of whether or not Georgia loses tomorrow. If Georgia Tech wins, that's 1/12 of the season that favors Georgia Tech.

Beating Georgia, Miami, and Florida St. is far better than Georgia's best wins.

If you are so obsessed with quality losses over quality wins, then you should have USC ranked higher than Florida since losing @Oregon St. is WAAAAAAAAAAAy better than losing at home to Ole Miss.

Blown out in both though, and they do not have any quality wins to balance out those losses.

Slightly better. LSU, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt are by no means bad.

Vandy is bad, make no mistake about that. They lost at home to the worst team in the ACC

Looks like you need to change the title to 4-8 vs other bcs conferences.
