Cam > Vince Young

based on WHAT?

vince beat SC in their back yard. what the hell did cam do? he was in the perfect system for his playing style. that system has zero chance of working in the NFL. cam's biggest problem is he is not very accurate. you cannot be a good qb in the league and have below average accuracy.

quote:

And we all know a large part of Young's demise is his lack of dedication and the culture in which he came from

right. because cam SCREAMS hard work and dedication.

Cam's arm > Vince's arm
Also, Cam does not have below average accuracy.
Ae all know Young would be a successful QB if he wanted to; it's clear he hasn't done what is needed to be successful. Not sure how you could say Newton won't work hard.

Look at Cam's success and body. Do you think he walked into both without effort?

I'm not saying Cam is a lock to be the greatest player in the world, but he's not a lock to fail like some mongoloids are saying.

Did Young show as many signs of being a fraud as Cam? Fake bullshite smiles? laptops out the window? Swag comments? I seem to remember young being a bit more humble but maybe not

I'll take one year of what he did over 4 years of a guy like Dalton or Ponder.

vince was black jesus. if this is a reference to arm strength, lulz. that is the worst indicator of success for a qb.

well he certainly doesnt have above average accuracy.

the kid is a genetic freak, no doubt about it. but he also has dreams of being an icon blah blah blah.
qb is played with the heart, first. you have to LOVE being a qb, breath it, live it. cam has shown none of that. he has shown he loves the camera. dude is ryan leaf waiting to happen.

This basically shows your complete lack of football knowledge.

UT's ability to produce mental midgets is widely known and accepted.

so ricky liked to smoke pot. THAT is your basis for this assumption?

all schools let in idiots as long as they can play ball. UT is not special in that regards. they do, however, have a lot fewer kids arrested than UF.

Apparently none of you are privy to common knowledge.

UT fosters a sheltered environment, which no doubt has led to many of its players having an inability to handle criticism.

Young, Roy Williams, Ricky Williams, etc., etc.

I live in Austin, but I assumed this was well known. Many teams are wary of drafting UT players.

Other than Cam's National Championship,I'd take a QB like Andy Dalton any day of the week in the NFL.

Newton is a piece of shite and I hope to god the Panthers waste their top pick and their money on this fraud.

Dalton is the perfect example of draftniks taking a player and completely distorting their ability.

I will if anyone takes him in the first round.

Why? what are his downfalls?

The guy is a winner. He's smart. he knows what it takes to win. He has the arm strength and accuracy.

What seems to be the problem?

then you are close enough to Blynn to have heard the rumors of Cam's behavior there. plus getting kicked out of UF for theft and the icon nonsense.

and you think he has the mentality of a first round draft pick at the qb position?
