I love when teams think to themselves, "You know, we should get physical with the Caps. They won't be able to deal with a lot of hitting" I mean, have they EVER seen a Caps game? Forget Ovi the human bowling ball for a second... we employ both Jason Chimera and Tom Wilson. You don't think they aren't looking to deal some pain. Wilson's nearly subhuman, he's already one of the biggest rats in the league.
And the Flyers fell for it. They collectively lost their shite when Wilson made a dirty hit with 7 minutes left. A good team says "thank you" and takes the power play, but not the Flyers. No, their BEST PLAYER decides this is the perfect time to clock Wilson and pick a fight. So the charging minor on top of the fight wipes out the power play AND you've lost Simmonds for the final 7 minutes of the game. What a bunch of morons. I will trade Tom Wilson for Wayne Simmonds every game, and smile while we do it.
All that said, Brayden Schenn is a piece of shite and if the Caps go up 2-0, Latta is gonna get a courtesy start for the sole reason of punching him in the head repeatedly. Know who's not going to punch him in the face? Karl Alzner, the guy he cheapshotted. Because Alzner is better than he is at hockey.
