I'd be surprised if the Pens don't finish the Sharks in 5 or 6 games, the Pens speed will mostly likely be to much. Now if the Sharks can get their PP going, things could change. The Sharks will either need to score 3 goals to send it to overtime or win it outright each game. So every PP opportunity matters! For the Sharks to win this series they'll have to make their PP opportunities count, get at least 3+ PP opportunities a game, or find good offesive rhythm from the PP.

Hope I'm wrong and the Sharks bounce back this next game.....

Go Lightning !!!!

Pens looked awesome last night. That being said, I think Jones played better than Murray, and the Sharks D played well for the most part despite giving up 3 Even Strength goals. In reality, the game was so close that a break / bounce either way.

I think we're looking at a Game 7 on 6/15 in Pittsburgh.

Matt Murray improved to 12-4 in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The Pens are getting terrific production from their rookies/ELC players. It's truly amazing. It's not just Murray, but Rust has been doing his best John Druce impersonation.

Though I'd really like my cable/internet to get fixed so I could watch the games. This is getting frustrating as hell.

Go to the bar man. Last night's game was awesome. I jumped out of my seats when Crosby basically wiped out Braum, and passed it to Sheary for the 2nd goal.

I've got two kids under four and a wife that works as well. I'm not going to the bar to watch a team I hate play a team I'm mostly indifferent towards. We just stay at home, watch DVD's, and I follow the game on twitter.

Rutherford really has done an excellent coaching job, though. What he's doing with this D corps is nothing short of amazing.

Truth.

ETA: Last night's game got a 2.8, down from last year's 3.3 with the blackhawks / Tampa. Wonder how much of an impact the GSW game had on the ratings, my guess is it was pretty large.

Also - why not get an HDTV antenna as an interim solution?

Ah, well in that case man, I don't know. My bad .

Maybe have some friends in the area that will have you and you family over for one night and catch the game.

I hope so. The gap between the end of hockey and the beginning of football is just painful.

Agreed. Murray (obviously), Sheary, Rust, Kuhnhackl, and Dumoulin have all been major contributors.

Some could argue Malkin > Ovechkin already

Another Cup would seal it
