Huge to get the first one on the road. Looked the better side when 5 v 5. Have to avoid the silly penalties going forward.

Yeah, the Blues lost it after that play.
Still was a tough break for St Louis though....

Seems if the timing is as close as this Blues play was, the NHL should stand with the call on the ice. Sorta like the NFL does when it's to close to overturn. Those refs sure looked at that play for a long long long time. If its that tough to overturn, stay with call because that's what the players were reacting to in real time. If one is honest with themselves while looking at that play in real time. It was a sweet play that was perfectly timed to beat the Hawks defense. That kind of offensive showing should be rewarded, not punished.

The NHL needs to take anther look at these rules during the off-season. These off-sides challenges are killing the flow of games, if you ask me. Hockey is awesome when flowing continuously without interruption.

Go Lightning !!!!!!

So they should stick with an incorrect call because it was close?

In real time, it was bang/bang.
Shoot, it took the refs forever to change the call.

If the NHL is going to continue to disrupt games with challenges yearly. Be like baseball, the NHL should give the tie to the runner. Football even has to have indisputable evidence to overturn a call.

Great game between the preds and Anaheim! Colin Wilson sheds his invisibility suit at the right time.

Girardi out today. Looks like Henrik is back. If McIlrath is in it might be close otherwise it's a blowout for the pens

Bad rule, right call. I hate the coach's challenge, but if you're gonna have it, you make that call. His skate was off the ice and it was offside.

Sucks.

Looks like Fleury and Rust are for sure back for Pens.

Malkin game time decision.

What's hilarious to me truthfully is a play that developed over 10-15 seconds is ruled to be a no goal, because that 10-15 seconds earlier they say he was inches offside on the entry. Whereas, a player in the goalie crease making contact with the goalie whacking at him is considered a good goal?

What in the frick?

Zatkoff in net for the Pens again.

Malkin is back. Hot damn.

Sheary-Malkin-Rust line 2.

They keep Kessel-Bonino-Hagelin line together and move them down to 3rd line.
