Radio guy Steve Czaban has been ranting for a long time that replay is opening up cans of worms that we never knew existed when we saw plays with the naked eye. I guess we still need it for egregious mistakes, but hopefully all these new issues arising will be clarified one day.

Yeah, this stinks.
Killing the flow of Hockey over bang/bang plays.
Plus, the poster who mentioned these scoring plays being called back, after gaining the zone for awhile, is past ridiculous. After the puck has been in the zone for 5-10 seconds, off-sides shouldn't be an issues anymore because the defense has had plenty of time to react.

I love Czaban... not sure if he really hates replay or it's just a schtick.

Joe Posnanski has the best suggestion I've heard: keep replay but eliminate slo motion replay. Clear evidence means something you can see at regular speed. To me, that's the perfect compromise: it gets rid of obviously wrong calls while also not parsing offside or a catch to the nth degree.

Hopefully he's not the next Oleg Kvasha.
Kind of ridiculous he was on the Sochi team.

That's inexcusable by the refs on that call. It may have affected the PK
