Remember when we all thought Rick Nash was a great front line player?

Who will trade for Howard?

He is under contract until 2019 with a 5+ cap hit.

Rick Nash mails it in for the playoffs. It's part of his appeal.

With that contract and his performance until recently, I don't know if you'd get a used puck bag for him.

I think I'll take a 7th round pick for him at this point.

I am not the best hockey mind but I think if Nash was on a line with Perry and Getzlaf or with Pavelski and Thornton he would be scary great.

In New York he's just seems out of place. Maybe it's the market?

I'd say Carolina as they lose Cam Ward's giant contract, have already dumped Staal, and are going to need to sign some players to make the floor. That being said, Howard doesn't really fit with their rebuild.

Well the biggest thing is that Nash can't do much as the dominant guy on a line. He's a great "secondary superstar" so to speak. So yeah if he's in with Getzlaf or Thornton he'd be awesome, like truly awesome. Playing with Stepan and Kreider? Meh.

I think Buffalo or Edmonton would be perfect

Kahne Eichel

Trade Nugent-Hopkins to team him with McDavid

Personality needs to determine if that would be hell of a win for both as they both need new spots.

fricking Crosby just scored

That's a solid idea. Rangers could certainly use some center depth that is young and talented. In a big market with talent and maturity around RNH, he'd do better than he has in Edmonton.

Plus Edmonton gets a RW which they desperately need after Yakupov busted essentially, and a guy with veteran experience.

We're going to get swept. Don't worry, Holland, the streak is still alive.

As the resident Ranger fan here, Nash has way underperformed. Really needs to step up.

Also, Pens playing a hell of a game. We had one chance to win: goaltending. Now AV has gotten the team to take a shitload of bad penalties and keeps playing Staal, who hurts the team just by being on the ice. Him injuring Henrik is icing on the cake. Pens in 4.
