I have come to the conclusion that it will take at least 3 years to have a contender in this league. AT LEAST. Too hard to get solid talent as an expansion team.

Dude, I had a solid group last season, drafted pretty well, and still finished at the bottom. Sometimes it's just shite luck.
I think if I took my current keepers, used the few extra picks I have to draft well, I could be in the playoffs this season no problem. But... that's assuming no one gets hurt. A-Rod, Pujols, Lackey, and Ortiz all missed time last season for me. That hurt.

Ron, I'm just not looking to trade my top players right now. I'm pretty content with them.
The only thing I could see myself doing is trading a pick or two for someone I feel is an upgrade to Tejada or Willingham.
Although, I might keep Kaz over Willingham, just for SBs... and because Willingham might be platooning.

I was the last team out of the playoffs last year, which is really fricking incredible. Finished .500 as a first year expansion team.
