Virginia has to be one of the most underrated teams in the field this year though. They won the ACC tourney and only lost 14 games.
They lost series to Miami, UNC, and Va Tech.
They beat FSU and tied GA Tech.
Then finished the year beating Clemson, UNC, and FSU in the conference tourney.
Going into the tourney they were top 10 in just about every poll yet got a 2 seed. (below Ga Tech and Clemson)
They may not have deserved a top 8 seed but they should have been a regional #1.

I do kind of agree with that. However, Texas may be the most overrated #1 in a while. Good pitching, but in a average conf. Also, there's not one player in their lineup that scares anybody. They play too much small ball for their own good.
