We have at least passable starters and reserves there... at SS, nothing known.

fricking geez Simmons has one of the quickest turns I've ever seen.

ahhh damn, but that's good to hear

That was pretty smooth.
He got out of there before Freese was even able to get close to chopping him down.
Delgado rough inning...

Still blows my mind. I love plays like that.
So fluid and really quick with his hands.

I know Pastornicky has a rep as a gym rat and a hardworker, etc. And I know it's just a handful of at bats, but it seems like one guy came into ST trying to earn a job (Simmons) and another came in just thinking it would be handed to him (Pastornicky), even though neither have any sort of established track record to fall back upon.

Teheran gives up his 67th HR of the spring.

Cant throw anything but a fastball for a strike.

I think I'd rather us start the year with Medlen as the 5th starter than either Delgado or Teheran.

Me too, but from the quotes I've seen from Fredi, he really isn't giving it much of a thought.
Will likely be Delgado.

Yeah, you have to go Delgado after the way Teheran has been hammered this Spring.

These Cardinal announcers reference Scott Fletcher as basically our "2nd" hitting coach.
First I have heard of this. But basically saying we're one of a few that use RH and LH specific batting coaches.

Walker brought over someone that mainly handles all video and develops reports for all games, while he pretty much is always with the hitters. Fletcher must be that guy.
I remember hearing about it right when we brought Walker over, but I could be off base a little bit since it has been awhile since I've heard much about it.

Mac just tattooed that one.

Yeah, tried to click his bio and it says it's currently being updated.
The announcers just briefly said that Walker brought him over and we're employing an approach the Cards have used for a while, with a hitting instructor from each side of the plate.
