Well, to be fair, Jair was serving up meat right there bc he was mad about the mound.
That whole inning really made me mad

My player kind of tripped out.
I saw he fell down and was pissed about that. What happened? Lost his footing?
They were saying there were some mound issues... I guess that's why he was upset.

I take solace in the fact that Pastornicky got a hit and that Heyward had a couple of hard hit balls right at people.

I think Heyward will have a good season.
I'm more worried about the pitching and of course the bullpen (mis)management.

I was really counting on Viz to take off some pressure from the top 3.
At least we will still have Medlen.

The pitching has definitely been frustrating sans Minor.

We need someone besides Mcann that pitchers are worried about

Uggla Smash?
2010 Heyward isn't someone you necessarily want to pitch to either.
Chipper still isn't someone pitchers want to deal with. He's nothing like he was in his prime but he is still one of the smartest hitters in the league. Smart hitters aren't fun to pitch to.

I wouldn't be afraid to pitch to Uggla or Heyward of I was a pitcher. Uggla can hurt you but he is so inconsistent, if you can figure him out in his first ab, he's done. And Heyward I hope improves his swing, but right now I feel like anyone can throw an inside fastball by him, and he's so worried about it, it's messing with the rest of his swing. And don't get me wrong, I love Chipper and 2-3 yrs ago I would still be with you, but the dude is old and injured, he talks all the time about how he can barely get up in the morning. That's the problem with having an all-time great, it usually means they are old

What would the Braves spring training ERA be if they hadn't played the tigers?
3.00?
3.20?

3.00?

30 in 30 recap
John Hart gives the Braves the following grades (1-5 scale)
Rotation: 3 (says 4 if healthy, but too many injury concerns)
Bullpen: 5 (first 5 he has given out all spring in any category to any team)
Offense: 3 (says this was a 1 or 2 last year)
Defense: 4
Picks Braves to make playoffs.
Harold Reynolds picks Braves to win NL East and make run in postseason.
Fredi was also interviewed and from what he said it sounds like Pastornicky and Simmons are in a dead heat in the FO eyes.

@Buster_ESPN: My strong sense is that there is split between ATL on-field staff and front office over SS situation:Uniforms want Simmons, FO Pastornicky.
