Glavine is too kind to Lowe. Yes he was prone to giving up a couple of runs in the first inning during his playing days, but he often proceeded to give up a grand total of 0 over the next 6 or 7 innings. Even if we go score 3 runs to match them in the 1st or 2nd, Lowe will go out and give it back up like he always does. He is a fricking bum. Plain and simple.

I've never heard anyone hype three- or four-game hit streaks as much as Chip Caray.

that's all we gotta do

put up some good AB's and get at it little by little. You don't need to get runs in bunches. Work the pitch count and get into a bullpen that got worked last night and score a run or two in the process

Shouldn't be considered a streak until it hits at least 10 games.

I thought Hinske was gonna kill that guy.

Field your position, Lowe.

Speaking of heart attacks, is Kawakami still alive or did we finally send him down?

He was sent down awhile ago. Can we extend Lowe's contract?

Sent him down early in the month. Don't worry though, Wednesday he's coming back up.

Nah...he's 37 and still has two years on his contract. We've got him till he retires.

Remember his no-hitter?

I would almost rather have Kawakami at this point. A lot of his problems were at least run support issues. He wasn't making 5th starter money either though. We really need to touch up Johnson and at least keep it close and get to their shitty bullpen.
