what a tremendously stupid post you've made here.
There is infinitely more parity in MLB than the NFL or NBA for that matter. That's problem one with your stupid post.
Problem two is that highest paid at the time doesn't always equate to existing talent. shite, that goes for any of the sports but doubly so for baseball with long term guaranteed contracts. Quite a few of the guys on that list were burdens to their teams this season.
The third biggest problem with your stupid post is that it pretends that buying players equals winning. The last few years have shown this to not be the case. frick just go through the lineups for the Dodgers and Astros WS rosters and you can see just how many players weren't 'bought' but acquired by normal, available to all methods.

The parity in the NFL is far superior in the sense that every team has the same amount to spend.

I have clarified that multiple times now. You should really read the thread before posting.

Who said that it equates to winning? Irrelevant if they were burdens. The fact is they had the funds to obtain said players.

Again, I didn't say that. Try again.

That might have something to do with the fact they're playing immensely different sports. In football, a stud QB would give any team a chance to compete. In baseball, the best hitter in the game will only be able to get at bat on every nine times.
I don't see how there is MORE parity in MLB when they both had eight different champions in the last decade.
The only difference is that the NFL is not a joke.

This is one of the strangest threads I've ever read on here.

How is MLB a joke?
Some team's gross revenue is less than other team's payroll.
Some owners have no desire to place an adequate team on the field.
The cap on spending in the MLB draft but NOT free agency.
