well yeah.

I feel like hitting it bad and having great results is like stealing something and getting away with it and feeling bad about it.

Hitting it great with terrible results is like getting something stolen from you.

Thats why golf is so addicting.

It's like women that won't leave an abusive husband and just keep coming back for more

I once hit a ball off a tree on the first hole. it kicked left onto the green ended up 2 ft from the hole for an easy birdie. It was the best shot I hit all day.

What?

Are you mentally retarded?

I have played golf competitively for most of my life and at my peak was about a scratch. A lot of people who aren't pros know what I was talking about.

ETA:

I am nowhere close to scratch now. About a 5 or 6

My 1st and only hole-in-one came on a skulled shot that never got more than 20 feet off the ground. Looked everywhere around the green for the ball and it ended up in the bottom of the cup. Go figure.

Edit: around a 8 handicap right now fwiw.

My only ace was #3 at BRCC. I was 12 and was playing a 20 yard draw with a 9 iron that spun straight left 20 ft into the hole. If it had missed the cup it would've gone off the green to the left.
