For the morning crowd, since it will get lost in the shuffle with 4 matches tomorrow and an LSU game... that was an epic finish. If you can catch a replay of the 5th set, it's worth the time.
Spoiler Alert:
Cilic was completely dominating from the time he went down 2-1 in the 5th. Then, serving at 2-5 and 0-40, De Minaur saves all 3 match points, 2 of them in insane defensive fashion. He finally holds after a 20-point game, saving 2 more match points in the process.
He's down 30-0 on Cilic's serve and just starts coming up with the goods on return, sometimes following them in and pressuring Cilic into errors. The kid really understands the game. He gets the break on a ball that was challenged and barely missed wide, and then holds easily to level it at 5 all.
Cilic was relentless though and wouldn't miss. Even though he's a vet, he could have easily caved after having that many chances to close it out, and letting the crowd back into it.
Quality stuff from both guys.

I’m in Ashe right now. Luckily only about 10 rows up in the third deck. Thank god for the shade from the roof structure. Got to watch Serena practice a bit ago, so that was cool. Have fun, dude. Raonic/Isner should be a beautiful disaster over there.
