You can never count out the Nordic princess Kerber either. She looks just like a young Frances McDormand.

Yea I haven’t heard of Bellis before tonight but I mostly stick to the four Grand Slams.

Think she was one of the youngest players ever to win a match at the US Open a few years ago. But yeah, she’s not overly well known for a more casual tennis fan.

Tonight (Thursday night) Serena starts at 8:15 EST and Madison Keys at 10:30 EST so every fan back home should get to watch them both. Dominic Theim is starting to pull away from Bolt. This has been a great Australian Open thus far.

Man, whatever it is that the all-time greats have that sets them apart from others... Zverev has absolutely none of it.

He hasn’t dropped a set yet this AO but I’d put him behind Tsitsipas, Medvedev, and Theim as far as the youngsters go.

Come on Taylor Townsend if she can get a break here and serve out the first set she should beat Pavlyuchenkova. Taylor hasn’t been attacking the net tonight she’s trying to play baseline.

Karlovic approached nearly 75 unforced errors in his match against Monfils. Goes down in 4 sets.

Monfils pulls through outstanding his match with Gulbis should be a good one. I’m watching Kyrgios against the frog Simon. I can’t believe Isner won two whole sets without going to a tiebreaker.

Three 5th sets at the same time, glad I stayed up.

Fritz comes back from two sets to love and beats Anderson in 5. Kevin ran out of gas hard.

Danielle Collins loses in 3.

Stanimal survives Seppi in 5, I thought he was out of gas when he got broke in the 5th too.

This night had pretty much everything.

Goffin up 2-0 and almost losing.

Khachanov surviving in 5 too.

Kyrgios and Simon both mocking Rafa's butt picking.

And this through 2 sets...

God that Khachanov match had me sweating, last one in my parlay. He looked done so many times.

I was gonna say, put some cheddar on Simon. But, the oddsmakers knew better and it wasn't that good of a price. Good to see Nick got through it.

I had no idea Felix lost to Ernests a few days ago. Jeez.

The round of 32 matches are looking pretty tasty.

How did Kevin Anderson drop to #122, but my site is showing him as -140 vs Fritz tonight. Weird.

Yah, see Free $$$ post above regarding Fritzy.

Monfils is done. He can’t serve or hit a topspin. There’s no way he’s going to return Ivo

You're pretty good at this.

As would any reasonable human being. A couple others will likely pass him this year as well. There's just nothing extraordinary about his game, imho. Unless you count his necklace.

Anybody else do a double-take when they see that one?
