The only guys you could think of taking over Duncan are Garnett and Barkley.

Garnett and Barkley aren't in the same conversation as Duncan, IMO. There's a huge gap from Tim to Chuck.

Not as easy as u may think.

- Malone

- Barkley

- Nowitzki

- Garnett

- McHale

- Pettit

- Elvin Hayes...

Therefore, i wouldn't be so quick to say "no shite"

That pretty much proved everyone's point.

The only ones even debatable is Dirk and Malone.

Dirk is not a good defender and has one title compared to four. And Malone while maybe a better scorer and a very good defender, never could get over the hump.

Duncan is by far the best on that list. Garnett? No. Not even close. Barkley? Love the guy, but NO.

Duncan in his prime was dominant defensively. The dude is a Top 10 player all time regardless of position imo. I'd take him over Shaq, but that's definitely up for debate.

I'd have to say best PF of all time although its close. I dont hate him but I've never been a fan

Except that he actually plays center, and has for about the last 10 years.

Barkley was a better offensive player and just as good a rebounder as Timmy. Not in the same class defensively. Barkley WS/48 .216, Duncan .214

Garnett is a step lower, but I am a little biased because I think his stretch from 02-05 was arguably the greatest by any PF ever. 22ppg, 13rbg, 5apg, 1.5 bpg for those seasons. Mind numbing
