If you take that lineup and plug in Springer in CF, move Barnes to LF and plug in Singleton for Wallace, I would be fricking perfectly happy watching that team.

Singelton is nowhere near as good as Wallace RIGHT NOW. he would be in over his head.

Our payroll is about 13 million right now. A large portion of that is Wandy's salary.

lulz. its FULL ON SUCK FOR RODON Time.

I would be shocked if they win more than 12 more games this year.

No reason in throwing him to the wolves right now just to get him at bats and possibly ruin his confidence. He needs to get on track before they can consider promoting him

JS is sucking in AAA....where pitchers of the caliber of Ambriz are making him look foolish. he needs to grow up and prove he is mature enough to stick in the major leagues.

Hoes had no place in the Orioles OF with Urrutia coming up. We drafted him as a 2B but moved him to the OF, he can hit but not a ton of power. Average arm for the OF. He'll be a serviceable starter/ really good platoon player on a contending club.

Hader has a lot of potential and was a nice pick up., but is young and has a long ways to go.

That 33rd pick give you more money to sign Rodon.

LOVE this trade for my O's

Don't mind it for the Astros..

Shane, what you're saying may be true for Singleton, but no way in hell do I think it's true for Springer. Guy has raked at all levels.

ASrtros have 3 of the top 40 or so picks next year 1-1; 1-33; 2-1

Need to hit on all three

Who knew a career ,mediocre pitcher could garnish such demand. Kind of tells you how bad the market is this year.

Another example:
Peavy is a walking wounded pitcher, and he was #1 pitcher in demand.(Lee has never been on the block)

No I agree, Springer has maxed out in the minors. he will always strikeout a lot, not going to cut hat down in AAA but he's an impact bat and plays a premium position.

Yeah I agree with that. I was only referring to Singleton

Our farm is gonna be fricking stacked. We've got a lot of early picks and are racking up depth.

Agreed. I think he's ready for the majors now. There's some thought the FO would like for him to make a run at being minor league player of the year. I'm sure Springer would love that honor, but would much rather forego that and make it to the majors.

I would oversign the shite out of these 3 picks. I'll give up a draft pick in 2015...I don't care
