we've already had this discussion. I'd probably become a N.O. fan.
this doesn't have anything to do with the issue at hand FWIW

+7 What about guys like Kracka who have no affilation to either yet like both?
You would then have 2 MLB teams, one of which you have no affiliation with besides you aunt. I tend to agree with what you said. I think you should have an affiliation with a team to be a fan. If Houston did not have an MLB team I would just not watch MLB. When the Oilers left I stopped watching the NFL. However I think that a Louisiana natvie who is a Cubs fan because they were one of the two teams on TV every day should be one of the last to call someone else out about this topic.

no I wouldn't, I said I would become a fan of the N.O. team and specifically said I wouldn't be a fan of two teams.

But if say you're an LSU fan, but a UNC basketball fan with absolutely no affiliation with UNC.....you're a douche
be true to your school is what I always say.

Your 2nd school is a smaller in state school in your hometown.
why does it have to be in state? not everyone was born in louisiana.

"kracka failed out of nicholls?

that's what he said, I guess he was too busy breaking down UNC game tape or longing to go to LA technical college to concentrate on the rigors of Nicholls academic course load.

nap, memphis would be your smaller in state school. by bilj's definition. especially with memphis being your hometown.
i support memphis.(the ol'lady went there) but make no mistake should the two ever meet, these veins bleed purple and gold.

fwiw, i have two favorite MLB teams. but i have valid reasons for both.

I think I fall under exception #3.
I grew up a tiger fan since I was born in S. LA. Then I went out west and graduated from Cal State Fullerton. Fullerton has no football so I continue my allegiance to LSU in football. I cheer for both in other sports. Baseball is where I am torn the most, but I probably follow both equally.
Oh yeah, I went to Nichols St. for a lil bit...but frick dem!

lsu simply has to beat UNC. if so next weekend will be pretty wild.
Posted on 3/20/09 at 2:24 pm to PortCityTiger24
I know a guy who pulls for LSU football but Kentucky basketball. It's possibly the most retarded thing I've ever heard...I mean is the need to pull for an annually successfull team THAT great?
Posted on 3/20/09 at 2:24 pm to Rebel
yeah i already told jtmempho to keep the futon open.

Oh yeah, I am getting my Ph.D. and already have my Masters from U.N.O., but I have never been a Privateer!!
In my opinion grad school allegiances should always be secondary to undergrad!!
