I'm surprised so many are picking Florian. A flash KO is his only chance.

Easily winning rounds 4 and 5 and getting a decision after BJ gasses is a has real chance.

BJ's never won a fight after the 3rd round... of course he's only 0-2-1 and Florian hasn't either (0-1)

I know one of those was the recent loss to GSP which was at WW. Were the Uno draw and Pulver loss at LW or WW? Anyone remember because I don't?

Cool. It will be interesting to see how this fight goes.

Assuming that BJ wins, who do you think is next in line at 155? Diego? Frankie Edgar?

Those two or Maynard. Not really a lot of choices.

I guess I would choose Diego. Then have Maynard and Edgar battle it out for the next shot. The only downside to all this is that we have to watch Maynard fight.

Maynard already beat Edgar once, maybe give the next shot to the Maynard Huerta winner.

I'd like to see Diego personally. Even though I hate him.

Isn't this the last fight on Huerta's contract? Any chance he isn't re-signed by the UFC?

Doubt it. Good guy to market to the Latino crowd.

He says he wants to take time off from fighting to try and get into acting.

Maybe he'll star beside Rich Franklin in that movie he's in. There will be Oscar considerations all around for that one.

there's virtually no chance of a flash knockout of Penn by anyone at 155, and a very slim chance by anyone at 170. Forget that, it's not happening.

Gassing is a real possibility against a bigger wrestler. Florian's got nothing that would gas him. Florian's only chance is using his footwork, which is pretty good, moving around on the outside and out pointing Penn with lots of kicks, and staying out of any big exchanges.

Only way is by a knee in the clench and I gotta think BJ is too experienced/well trained for that to happen.

I was thinking Knee or elbow. Kenny does have some nasty bows. I know Kenny has good BJJ, but I think B.J. still decides to take him down and submit him. I'll say be RNC in the second or third round.
