That's a big money fight and they both know it.

Is it though? After this snorefest of a "grudge match"?

Feels like calling out DP was really random. Unless I missed something

You definitely missed something. They all trained together at American top team and Dustin had actually been running his mouth too. I really like Dustin but I don't think Dustin wants any bc he doesn't have the power of Masvidal and Colby is going to smother anything his size and his cardio is off the charts.

Soy Boy Soyrier doesn't want it with Covington, Colby will rag doll him around like he just did to Masvidal.

That’s what 170 is now. Has been for a while since gsp. It’s the strike enough for a take down and wrestle weight class.

Kinda lame

Was hoping to see a fifth round with some punches being traded but Covington played it correct

Dustin seems afraid of equal competition. He walks around over 190 but will cut down to 155 so he can always be the bigger man when Colby truly fights in his class, just look at yesterday when Colby interviewed after weigh in, he was fine yet Masvidal took much longer and looked completely out of it in the interview. I wouldn't be surprised if the native weight cut Masvidal made affected this fight, he was gassed half way through the 2nd.

EASY work for the Cardio King, The King of Brazil, The People's Champ, and Donald Trump's favorite fighter

Masvidal has always had questionable cardio. He always fades in rds 4 and 5.

He carries much more body fat than a guy like Covington does, so the weight cut is just harder for him.

On the post show, they just said they dint think Dustin would want to fight Colby, but there are some real killers throughout 170., so I don't know

Colby, Khamzat, Gilbert Burns, Usman, etc. I don't see how Dustin gets through all those guys.

a lot of people around here don't like to talk about this, but it's the truth .... Dustin weighs in at 195lbs on a daily basis at American Top Team. he (like Khabib) are both well known "weight bullies".

there is a reason he's currently trying to dodge Covington.

Khabib and Porier should have both been fighting at 170 throughout most of their careers.

saw a video from years ago of Poirer and Covington both weighing in at American Top Team (during random training) and Poirer weighed in at 193bs and Covington weighed in at 180lbs .... yet Poirer was getting prepared for a weight cut to fight at 155lbs while Covington was fighting at 170lbs.

that's just total, pussy shite on Poirer's part.

Covington barely has to cut weight for welterweight. That's partially why his gas tank is so good.

On the behind the scenes videos this week, he was bouncing around in a sweat suit saying he had about 3 lbs to lose and that he fought at his natural weight unlike many fighters.

He said he also knew Masvidal was going to have a crazy hard time getting to 170. I think he normally walks around about 190, just like Porier.

Usman also does this, though, which makes Covington even more impressive. Usman could probably fight at LHW if he wanted. I still have no idea how he makes 170.

I don't know how you remedy it, but the weight cutting thing is ridiculous by some fighters.

Alexander Volkanovski said he used to be 214 when he played rugby, and now he fights at 145. It's ridiculous.

Poirer has always been a pos. Don't understand the whole "nice guy" narrative that's been floating around him. Especially during the McGregor fights.

Wow 273 is pretty stacked, but how did Korean zombie get a title shot? He just lost to ortega 2 fights ago, do they not have any other contenders?
