Glover is crushed. As he should be.

Jiri is a huge star, though. He's what UFC is all about.

This was a hell of a card. Best one in a while.

Great card. Feel bad for Glover since he definitely blew it. But Jiri is entertaining.

Off to bed to wake up for the 6am F1 Grand Prix.

If it's Jan v Jiri next, Jan takes the belt right back.

Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Gutted for Glover after that effort.

You might as well never watch another ufc fight if you thought that was rigged.

Yep see y’all in the morning for F1. Can’t wait for an eventual Ankalaev Jiri fight but Jiri Jan will be awesome.

I still can’t get over that fight. I’ve texted so many people about it

I mean as far as historical ufc fights go we’ve had better wars on the feet
-bonnar/griffin
-McDonald/lawler
-Henderson/shogun
-chuck/wanderlei
-zombie/Garcia
Etc

But as far as an all around back and forth war in all 3 phases of MMA, striking, wrestling, grappling? That may have been the best ever

Agreed. It may not have been the prettiest thing ever, but this was a FIGHT. Had big shots in the stand up, big takedown moments, brutal ground and pound, multiple solid submission attempts, WILD reversals on the ground, nasty cuts, and a finish with less than 30 seconds left that crowned a new champ. Was definitely one of the most entertaining fights I’ve ever watched.

Truthfully, the card as a whole was high level with some brutal knockouts. One of my favorite cards in recent memory.

They just showed on ESPN that Taila Santos suffered a broken orbital in the head clash. Her eye did close pretty much immediately.

Cant say enough about glover. To put up the fight he did at his age against a young hungry lion like jiri was something to behold. I knew this would be a tough fight for jiri but i didnt expect glover to be able to take that much damage and still be winning the fight. Amazing performance by both guys.
