Eh he's definitely still good enough to compete with the best.

No shot. Izzy looked real good tonight. TEMU Taysom Hill is just really good. Gonna be tough to beat

Honestly if Izzy didn't get sloppy in that round and continued with the body work I think he wins that fight. As much as I wanted to see him lose

Izzy is still very good but look at the top of 185. It's kind of a murders row right now.

DDP
Strickland
Khamzat
Whittaker

I don't know if Izzy can beat any of those guys right now.

He is still very good, but he just doesn't seem quite as sharp as he used to be. Also think guys have finally started to figure him out. If you pressure him, he is not the same fighter. You can't stand back and let him point you death like he used to.

I just don't know if Strickland will do anything other than what he did the last fight.it will go 5 rounds and Sean will land lots of shots, but Dricus probably will never break because he's not up against a guy who can put his lights out quickly.

DDP will have just enough takedowns to win rounds and do just enough damage to win the fight in cards. Strickland just doesn't change what he does enough to take it from him it think.

When will then be now?

Damn, who is that gigantic fricker in Dricus' corner?

2 South African rugby stars. The black guy is Siya Kolisi, the team captain. The white giant is Eben Etzebeth, 6'8" 260lbs.

Agreed. We know what Strickland is at this point. I don’t think we ever have to see him fight for the belt again.

Dricus would still have to probably cut 10-15lbs to make 205. I have no idea how that dude makes 185.

My point is that he can obviously still compete with those guys, go put him against Khamzat or Strickland again, would it really surprise anyone if he wins? He looked like his typical self tonight in my opinion.

Yes, it would be a surprise if he beat a top tier fighter going forward, after tonight. He doesn’t have it anymore and everyone has figured him out.

Maybe you wouldn’t be surprised if he beat Strickland because at this point Strickland is also done. We know what he is and he’s not changing.
