My guess is that Abu Dhabi pays a premium to have the event there to offset any losses in ppv.

Khamzat's gas tank gets brought up a lot as a weakness. Is this because of the Burns and Usman fights? The fight with Burns was a war, and I don't remember thinking that he gassed out.
The fight with Usman--Khamzat tore a ligament in his hand in the first round. If that hadn't happened, I think he would have won more decisively. It's gotta hurt like hell to try and grab hold of a guy and grapple or punch him when your hand is in pain. So naturally he was less active in the second and third rounds.
re: the size difference between Max and Topuria--MMA Guru was saying that Max has always had trouble with strong shorter fighters. Because he has to adjust his stance to be lower so that his punches can land with the force of a direct hit on their shorter height level. I think he was saying that that's why Max had such a hard time with Volkanovski.
The way Topuria knocked out Volkanovski... That was crazy. Lights out with the right and then hits him with the left, Volk slumps over.
It's gonna be wild. One more sleep. Looks like the prelims start at 9AM.
