Khalil seems like a really intelligent guy outside the ring, but that was definitely a low fight IQ third round. Jiri basically forced him into fighting how Jamahal HIll tried unsuccessfully to make him fight.

it was "technically" a legal kick, but a coward way to fight and 99% of the sport condemned him for it at the time. fighters, coaches, etc..
they were standing and going at it and Modestas was getting the better of him, then Rountree turned and stomped on the side of his knee which immediately tore his ACL, MCL and both meniscuses.

I remember when fighting 3-4 times a year seemed pretty standard, lol. Now it's a huge deal for a "name" to fight more than once every 9 months.
