I know Forrest is not a wrestler but he was way bigger than Rashad.

He was landing at will from guard.

A big wrestler wouldn't be on his back against Rashad.

I think Rampage is the better fighter and is going to beat the ever-living frick out of the wide-swinging Wanderlei. QJ is at the point with his hands that he should eat Silva alive in a boxing match.

Damn, my picks sucked. Not surprised that Forrest or Wandy lost as I thought both of those were close to a pick em. Even the Big Nog fight, I wasn't surprised as much that he lost as I was at the way he lost. I would have never thought Mir had an edge on his feet against Big Nog. I thought it was the other way around.

won some coin on the money line on evans (thought he would win) and Mir (thought he had a chance b/s he is more explosive, but liked the odds more than his real chances).

Anyone else watch the fight at fox and hound in metairie?

cro cop, wandy, nog, gomi, sakuraba all are pretty much DOA. Pride nuthuggers must be pretty bummed. I wonder where that auburn guy is.

I'd argue Anderson isn't even a "Pride Fighter." He left that org. a while before coming to the UFC.

I would consider Page a Pride fighter. He has been fairly dominant.

no shite. they were almost violent in their inistence that anything japanese was far superior to the UFC talent.

i'm amused by it all. I wanted wandy silva to dominate b.c i love watching him, but he is just a dangerous punching bag at this point.

a part of my soul died tonight.

i think nog and silva should just hang it up as much as I hate typing that.

both guys have been in too many wars and now i can see it. amazing what 4 years can do to fighters especially these two guys.

very true. Look at Big Nog....dude looks about 45. he is such a good guy i hate seeing it, but any objective person could see it coming.

i have started viewing them almost as professional wrestlers. I know it's wrong, but that's the imperssion i get.

did anyone notice Dana White seemed to just put the belt on Rashad? Didn't seem too excited. Forrest was going to be the poster boy. 205 is just such a ridiculous division. You can now just about flip a coin with everyone now.

Man, after tonight, that is a pretty spot on statement. I never in a million years thought Wandy or Nog would lose the way they did. I new it was possible for both to lose, but nothing like tonight. I think it proves that the cage is 10x's more difficult than the Pride ring. I have been following MMA before the first UFC back in 93. I have to admit tonight that I did not see these arse whippens coming. But I'm happy, because this totally vindicates the UFC. And I think this knocks Fedor off his perch. If he doesn't fight in the UFC, he should never be considered best PFP fighter.

Now Rashad beating Forest, not a big stretch. You have to wonder which Forest is gonna show up. Greg Jackson is the best trainer when it comes to finding a fighters weakness. The LHW division that was once the UFC's cash cow, is now the biggest joke in the sport. I guess Bader will be fighting Rashad by the end of next year.
