very true. Look at Big Nog....dude looks about 45. he is such a good guy i hate seeing it, but any objective person could see it coming.

Big Nog always seems to be getting murdered then pull out the sub. I did know Mir's BJJ was going to make that really tough for him, but I thought Mir's standup would be shitty enough for Nog to beat him there. Mir looked way better in that arena, then I have ever seen him before......he has be seriously working on his combos and whatnot.

Funny you say that. The guy I was watching it with last night tried to tell me Nog was 45. I didn't know exactly how old he was but, I said it was more like 34 or something (then he was 32, same age as me )

I'd argue Anderson isn't even a "Pride Fighter." He left that org. a while before coming to the UFC.

Yeah, I don't really look at him that way. He really didn't put it all together till he hit the UFC IMO. Just curious, but is there a legit top level Muay Thai org. out there somewhere? I just wonder why UFC doesn't try and snatch some of those guys just to see what would happen?

That move was wise as shite.

About the only chance he has got against Lesnar is the fight going the same way as the first one did. I guess he is trying to Psych him out a bit.

Yeah, for 20 bucks. I ended up watching at a friends house though. The only thing that sucks about that deal is the Male/female ratio going on in the bar.......serious sausage fest going on.

Is this River Dance?

Pretty sure it is the "Dropkick Murphys" off of "The Departed" soundtrack. If you are talking about Forrests' intro music.

Dana should have Couture move back to 205.

Yeah, I mentioned this earlier. Couture would embarrass Rashad IMO.

The LHW division that was once the UFC's cash cow, is now the biggest joke in the sport.

I wouldn't go that far. Time to start giving Rashad credit. Before the Liddell fight, we all thought he needed to work on his hands. His hands look pretty good to me. Before the Forrest fight, most of us thought that if it went to the ground it would be Griffin's fight. Rashad straight dominated on the ground. Dude has just been the better fighter in all of his fights. What more can you ask for? I wouldn't take him in a fight vs Rampage, but yo really can't count this guy out.

He is a great wrestler and got a take down. Granted he looked great with the GNP, but I still think Forrest would have been just as impressive had he been on top. If they fought 5 times, I still believe Forrest would win 2 or 3 of them. I'm guessing Rampage gets the first shot at Rashad and beats him. To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing Hendo (or as I mentioned several times Randy) getting a shot at Rashad, but Page is next in line.

So we know that Rogan and Goldberg are big fans of non-landing leg kicks.

Rogan has always had a huge hard-on for leg kicks. Keith Jardine could get dropped by punches 5 times in a round but land 3 leg kicks and Rogan wants to give him a 10-8 round.

And that was obviously one of the 3 talking points fed to the pet monkey Goldgerg for the night. "Psst, Mike. Forrest beat Rampage using a lot of leg kicks. Oh, and don't forget to say 72% ever ten seconds or so. Thanks."

The UFC needs to bring the old Pride announce team of Mauro Ranallo and Bas Rutten and let Joe stay on as the 3rd man. Joe and Goldie rubbing each other's faces last night was the last straw.

I still think Liddell beat Jardine. I know I am the only one that thinks that, but to me getting punched in the face is worse then getting kicked in the leg.

You would be correct. It's called "Shipping up To Boston".

wandy hasnt been quite the same after the brutal beating by mirko cro cop.

once you get one brutal knockout and concussion like that its much easier for it to happen again.

as far as fedor on the other hand i still think he would do well in the ufc. hes only been rocked once by fujita and other than coleman and randlemans takedowns hes never really been in trouble. and he whooped tim sylvia like no one has before.

yeah, what ufc HW is gonna beat fedor? Lesnar is the only one with a chance because he is such a huge freak but Fedor would still have a 90+% chance of finishing him.

Wandy's head is bust and i think Couture isn't too far behind although nobody ever talks about it.

Doubt it. Couture's stand up would get him KO'd like Chuck against Evans or like Silva against Rampage. The wrestling would be near a push.
