GSP outside of one instant, seemed totally in control from what I remember. I will have to go watch a replay as it was 2.5 years ago. His reach if I recall correctly really hampered Penn. Then he had the equal of Penn's skill level when put in situations where Penn usually finds a way to beat the talented Pulvers and Sherks of the world.
For a 13-4-1 lifetime fighter, he is but 3-3 when fighting at 170 four times, once at 185, once at open weight. I admire his willingness to want those fights, but are they the smart move?

I mean i think GSP clearly won the fight 2 rounds to 1 especially in UFC scoring where wrestling is rewarded but it could not be any further from domination.
Notice GSP's face in this post fight interview from his hospital bed:

Couture would embarrass Rashad IMO.
Doubt it. Couture's stand up would get him KO'd like Chuck against Evans or like Silva against Rampage
Couture wouldn't stand with him.

The wrestling would be near a push.
Not even close. Couture's wrestling is way better than Rashad's.
Rashad was an average wrestler in college. He is way to small to offset Couture's Greco-Roman work.

Totally agree, and also think that QRJ strictly upright on his feet using his hands..will beat Evans too.

1. He absolutely did not get dominated by gsp. To say so is....IT was a split decision.....
2. He doesnt give up significant reach to the "elite" of 170. He's probably right at the average for the division. Don't have any clue where you are basing this off of.
3. "4-3", I like how you just cut to wherever his losses started because if you went back 7 more, there are no losses. Very clever you.
Out of those 3 also he had a close match with gsp and fought one of the best 205ers in the world while he weighed 190. Comon.....

I have to believe that GSP will humiliate BJ Penn yet again,
Again?
The first fight easily could have went either way. GSP's face was messed up after the fight, while BJ was fine.

Fact!

I think Brock had a lot of injuries during his time with the Vikings.
he also had no idea how to play football, which was his biggest problem. The NFL is just a place with room for people that far behind in terms learning a position.
Kick returner or kicker are probably the only positions where you can walk in from the street if you have the physical tools.

Brock must've had some of the world's slowest or poor footwork to been cut by the Vikes, because his upper body strength and stamina certainly wasn't a factor.

Losing a split decision to GSP, to Matt hughes and to a 215lb Machida who had already TKOed Rich Franklin and Stephan Bonnar inside of 2 rounds is certainly shameful for any natural 155lb fighter.

BJ penn sucks for making dream fights.
Besides, he would beat 95% of the 170 lb division.
All these questions and more answered when he fights gsp, so it's really a mute point atm.

Yo, GSP nuthugger. How does a natural 195lb GSP tap from strikes in round 1 from a midget 155lber and barely eek out a split decision against another 155lber if he is the world's best P4P?

yes, they're called kickboxers. Fedor's game is well suited for the cage.
Dan Henderson, Wanderlei Silva, Shogun, Sokoudjou, Big Nog.
Hendo has fought two Pride guys so one of them had too lose.
Wandy- kickboxer
Shogun- injured kickboxer
Sokoujou- over-rated guy who caught lighting in a bottle
Big Nog- 2 and 1 in the UFC
What's your point again?

Fedor will never come to the UFC though. They won't pay enough money for him, and he doesn't want to fight that bad.
He was real close to coming to the UFC then Affliction came in. He will fight in the UFC in less than 18 months, imo.

he should cut to 145 and just outwrestle everybody since thats what being a true great P4P fighter is all about.
