Anyone else think wandy is done? i honestly dont think he will fight, at least at that weight, again.

I don't think he should, but I don't think he is smart enough to realize this.

wtf was up w nog? he lookged disoriented even before bell

The shertards are saying he is done from his damage in Pride, but that damage didn't affect him against Timmay.

who the hell has mir been training w? he has never looked that good standing up

Ken Hahn at Striking Unlimited in Vegas. The same guy who was his team's striking coach on TUF. He looks Malayasian to me but I don't know for sure.

Didn't get to watch the fights. I've been reading through this thread and some recaps. I can't believe Rashad is the new champ. For the record, that's 2 nipple tweekers holding belts.

I found out Friday night that a friend has some extra tickets to the Penn vs GSP fight. I'm debating on whether not to go. I've never been to Vegas or to a UFC fight, so this will be a hell of a way to break them both in.

I know. It's lined up perfectly. I couldn't ask for a better scenario to knock out both at the same time. I'm trying to not make myself feel guilty spending the money to do it.

And to think, I just got rid of my "Rush" affliction shirt!

He dominated him. I like BJ Penn, he has plenty heart, is willing to fight outside his natural division, but lacks the reach to deal with GSP.

I don't think Wandy is near being done. He may be done as a title contender but he could clean up the Tier II LHWs of the UFC.

Plus what someone said earlier, he brings in fans with his fighting style. Dude has the meanest stare-down. I would pee in my pants if he ever looked at me like that.

He is done from is damage from PRIDE, you should be smart enough to know that. The amount of accumulated damage he's taken from CroCop, Fedor, Sapp, and everyone else has CLEARLY taken its toll..... IMO, the fight may have been stopped a little early (for Nog), but the past few fights, he's been a shell of his former self..... Same with Wanderlei. You can only take so many soccer kicks and stomps to the head and fight so many guys 30+ lbs heavier than you for so long.

wandy needs to fight some people with no punching power for the next 18 months so he can get a little brain back

Dana would let Tito back for that fight IMO. I don't know what kind of contract tito has now though.

would Tito want to come back to the UFC to fight a washed up Wandy? I doubt it.

Nog was getting worked by HH & Timmay. The problem was that neither of those two are smart enough not to get caught but one of the best submission guys in the world. Frank Mir is too get to let something like that happen. I think the beatings Nog took in Pride did help in his performance Saturday, to a degree. None of his UFC performances have been spectacular.

With Tito beating him the first time they fought, I bet he could make a good purse off that fight. Hell, I would do it.

Herring really only got in one kick that stunned Nog and a little ineffective gnp afterwards. Other than that it was all Nog. Remember he won by decision(didn't pull a sub out of his arse).

& Timmay

Timmay worked him in round 1. I think Nog had trouble adjusting to Timmay's reach. Round 2 and 3 until the sub were close.

His first two were very typical of his fights in Pride.

I really think the last thing Nog was expecting was Frank Mir to come out swinging. Caught him off guard.

Clearly he has alot of thread off of his tires, but to say Fedor did Mir's job for him is nuts.

Nog has beaten plenty of good fighters since his two Fedor fights. You should be smart enough to know that.
